The Magnolia Hotel Omaha is a 145 room upscale boutique hotel with 10,000 beautiful square feet of flexible meeting and banquet space. The hotel is known throughout the community as “the place for weddings” and is also the host of many of Omaha’s fortune 500 meetings.
We have an excellent new opportunity in the vibrant downtown community for an experienced Catering Manager. The Catering Manager will respond to incoming catering/meeting space inquiries, conduct on-site property tours of the space, confirm sales agreements with contracts and fully detail all banquet events. This is a high client interaction role that also works closely with-in a sales department and has frequent interaction with most hotel staff
Minimum two years of catering experience, preferably in a full service hotel or upscale private catering company. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Outstanding organizational skills and attention to detail. Must enjoy working in a team environment. Able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends.
